Rev. Ron French, Pastor
Pastor Ron and his wife, Donna, have two daughters, Kristen and Brittany. Pastor Ron likes to challenge the church family to see God's Word in a new way, to reach out into the community and to be excited about God's plan for their lives. Pastor Ron served more than 20 years in the telecommunications industry before being called into formal ministry. He has a Master's Degree in Organizational Management and a Master's Degree in Divinity. When not involved in his love of Christ's ministry, he spends time with his family, building rolling ball sculptures (ask him about them!), woodworking or eating chocolate chip cookies.

Tiba Brown, Pastor's Secretary
Married for over 12 years and the mother of five children, Tiba currently is an undergraduate at UNO striving to obtain a doctorate in Psychology and minor in Women Studies. Tiba owns Through Thick and Thin, a plus size consignment boutique catered to women sizes 14 and above. She is invovled in jail ministry, family leadership, and Spiritual Precipitation Ministries, a ministry that refreshes women through the word of God and spa days. Tiba also teaches the word of God to women at S.O.S. ministries on Friday nights at Promise Land Worship Center. Tiba personally mentors young women ages 11 to 32 teaching them the principles of God in courting, attire, words, finances, peer pressure and other issues that young girls face. Tiba is committed to representing the kingdom of God in every area she puts her hands to and is extremely anticipating her first book (one of many) published and released in 2010. |
 | Matt Hill, Music Director Matt Hill joins the Sunset Hills family with a high level of enthusiasm and excitement! He has worked in worship/music ministry for seven years, and has a great degree of passion for building an environment that empowers congregations to worship with their mind, heart, body, and soul. He is committed to excellence, and has a desire to help musicians identify, and then build upon their God-given gifts for worship ministry. Matt is an accomplished vocalist and pianist, having studied applied voice, applied piano, choral conducting, and composition with some of the finest musicians in the country. He also works as a choral arranger, specializing in custom show choir shows, and performs frequently with his wife, Jen, as a pianist and vocalist for weddings and other special events. In 2007, he founded a non-profit choir organization called ?Sing Omaha', which is Nebraska's only K-12/adult organization of its kind. Matt serves as the Artistic Director and Executive Director, and conducts three of Sing Omaha's seven choirs.

Momoro Ono, Pianist
Momoro Ono has been serving as pianist at Sunset Hills Baptist Church since January of 2007. He holds a Master's degree from the Juilliard School as well as an Artist Diploma and Doctorate from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. He currently serves on the music faculty at Creighton University and has appeared as soloist with the Baltimore and Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestras as well as given a solo recital at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. In 1980, he won the Silver Medal at the Three Rivers International Piano Competition and First Prize at the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition at Juilliard within two weeks. Abroad, he has performed in Montreal, Scotland, and Japan. With his violinist wife, Heejoung Kim, he has performed extensively as the Kimono Duo. They reside in Ralston with their son Eugene and a pug named Natasha. |
